For many years, my avatar has been an Attitude Indicator (that's newspeak for what we used to call an "Artificial Horizon," and my step-son calls a "Flatness Guage").

Not too long ago, I was staring at it and realized that it was showing a slight turn to the left. That was just NOT acceptable, so it is now reversed, and we are turning toward the right. More better this way. Smile

To the uninitiated, who might compare it to a steering wheel, it now looks like it's turning left. Razz

How about an airplane dipping its wings? As many times that I've looked at your avatar I couldn't tell what it was.

If people would mind their own damn business this country would be better off. I owe no one an explanation or an apology for my personal opinion.

It does take a bit of interpreting. Look at it and you will see that the right wing is slightly below the horizon, the left wing is above the horizon.

Right wing low, we are banked to the right, so we are in a right turn.

The perspective might be throwing you off, as on this particular guage, the airplane appears stationery, while the horizon moves.

Banking left in an aircraft is always politically acceptable when it is the initiation of a strafing run. Big Grin

(The word doesn't look right to me with either spelling. I have to look it up.)

I hardly recognized you with your new avatar listing to starboard. Big Grin

You are correct. Strange that my check-speller did not catch it.
