Ordered a pair of Sig 229 +2 mags about 3AM Saturday morning from Greg, they shipped that day, arrived here today. Sunday and Monday were both holidays, standard shipping, got here in one day for all practical purposes.

As far as I can tell, nobody else carries these rare mags, and Greg has them in stock and ships fast!

Thanks, Greg!

Is Greg a member here? Or does he run a store known to SF?

Several years ago he had some police turn-in mags for the 229 in 357/40 and I bought four. Another member got the rest.

I also got a couple 7.65mm mags for my PPK from him.

Just because something is legal to do doesn't mean it is the smart thing to do.

Have bought from Greg a few times, always a good transaction.
Went to the website today and I just can't seem to navigate it.
Tried a few searches for random mags and never did find what I was searching for.
My pc has locked up a couple times lately so maybe the problem is on my end.

I need to get a waiver from the Waiver. I'm having a lot of trouble with my computer and won't be able to post pics. The Sig is a standard P229 (no rail) with standard grips that came from the factory with a .357Sig barrel, and the previous owner kindly supplied a .40S&W barrel with it when he sold it to me.

Here's a link to the +2 magazines on Greg's website:

I won't be able to test them at the range for at least a couple weeks. Since the gun functions perfectly with the factory mags, do you think I can just start carrying the Magpul +2's or should I stay cautious and wait to try them out first?

Mec-gar*

and I never had a single failure with them.

Test them first!

I got some brand new Mec Gar P320 mags and one won't feed at all. No obvious damage. Just doesn’t feed more than 2 or 3 rounds. Other identical Mec Gar mags are all fine.

Unfortunately, they sat around in the package for several years before I tried them, and now I feel guilty asking for a replacement.

There is a reason he gets good reviews. I have purchased from him many times and this reminds me to place another order soon.
