I believe in the principle of Due Process |
From San Diego friends: In the news, several potential contractors in San Diego have started building a border wall. Not to keep out immigrants, but to keep the LA Chargers from coming back. According to a new poll 91 percent of people are satisfied with their lives. The other 9 percent are Los Angeles Chargers fans. My wife was about to put my son in a Los Angeles Chargers jersey, but I reminded her it was a choking hazard. I took my broken vacuum cleaner back to the store. They put a Chargers jersey on it and now it sucks again. Are you scared of catching the flu? Just hang in the Chargers end zone, they don't catch anything there. I put a Chargers logo on an airplane and now it can't touchdown. Why did Dean Spanos cross the road.....I was thinking when I accelerated. A Chargers fan doesn't always eat pastries, but when he does it's usually a turnover. Most of the NFL teams get excited about playing the Chargers because it’s like having an extra bye week. The LA Times had a story about a blonde burglar who broke into the Los Angeles Chargers trophy room. Rumor has it the LA Chargers keep their season tickets on their dashboards so they can park in the handicap spaces. The California Highway Patrol is seriously enforcing the speed limits around Carson. For the first offense, they give you two Chargers tickets. If you get stopped a second time, they make you use them. I guess the new Chargers official cologne is creating a lot of buzz. It turns out you wear it and the other guy scores. Q: What do the Chargers and the mailman have in common? A: Neither deliver on Sunday. Q: Did you hear about the joke that Phillip Rivers told his receivers? A: It went over their heads. Q: What's the difference between the Los Angeles Chargers and a dollar bill? A: You can still get four quarters out of a dollar bill. Q: How many Chargers does it take to change a tire? A: One, unless it’s a blowout, in which case, they all show up. Thank you, San Diego State, for letting us enjoy football again ! Luckily, I have enough willpower to control the driving ambition that rages within me. When you had the votes, we did things your way. Now, we have the votes and you will be doing things our way. This lesson in political reality from Lyndon B. Johnson "Some things are apparent. Where government moves in, community retreats, civil society disintegrates and our ability to control our own destiny atrophies. The result is: families under siege; war in the streets; unapologetic expropriation of property; the precipitous decline of the rule of law; the rapid rise of corruption; the loss of civility and the triumph of deceit. The result is a debased, debauched culture which finds moral depravity entertaining and virtue contemptible." - Justice Janice Rogers Brown | ||

It'd be kinda nice if the CHP gave out Chargers tickets, instead...They can be kind of oppressive at times.
