Congrats on the milestone. Please include me in your generous karma. If I win, I'd like it to go to the Salvation Army. Thank you.

Please add me. If chosen, I would ask that it is donated to the Hope Center, at Mingus Union High School.

The town I live in, has a pretty high percentage of less fortunate people. There are a lot of kids in school that are in need. What was once literally a closet is now a room with clothing, food, school supplies and personal hygiene products. The center, is available to any Mingus Union student.

I made the mistake of not specifying that entrants into this karma needed an email address in their profile. Two days ago I announced the winner and have never been contacted by that person to fulfill the karma. I have re-submitted the thread into the karmanator and ptruck, Paul, from Wisconsin was chosen. We have been in touch and Paul’s charity, The Salvation Army will receive a $100 donation (my $50 and another $50 from a Forum member who asked to remain anonymous).

An excellent winner!

"It did not really matter what we expected from life, but rather what life expected from us. We needed to stop asking about the meaning of life, and instead to think of ourselves as those who were being questioned by life – daily and hourly. Our answer must consist not in talk and meditation, but in right action and in right conduct. Life ultimately means taking the responsibility to find the right answer to its problems and to fulfill the tasks which it constantly sets for each individual." Viktor Frankl, Man's Search for Meaning, 1946.
