Yep. Both of these swamp dwellers need to be looking for work. I'm sure CNN would love to have them as "contributors."

chellim1The president plans to fire Defense Secretary Mark Esper, CIA Director Gina Haspel and FBI Director Christopher Wray, two people familiar with his decisionmaking told the news outlet. White House officials declined to comment on personnel matters.
"Some things are apparent. Where government moves in, community retreats, civil society disintegrates and our ability to control our own destiny atrophies. The result is: families under siege; war in the streets; unapologetic expropriation of property; the precipitous decline of the rule of law; the rapid rise of corruption; the loss of civility and the triumph of deceit. The result is a debased, debauched culture which finds moral depravity entertaining and virtue contemptible."

12131We all love to see them gone long ago, but firing those bastards now would be a huge mistake so close to election day. It won't change tho ones who already firmly decided, but it will give the rats unnecessary ammo to blast the President, and will likely sway the fence sitters to the other side.

tatortoddSecond rule of politics is the topic being discussed is rarely actually the topic being discussed. The topic being discussed is power and power comes in the form of budget and votes.
Fauci is a bureaucrat who hasn’t seen a patient in many, many years. Since 1984, he has been the director of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases (NIAID). It’s one of 27 institutions that make up the National Institutes of Health (NIH). He competes for budgets (ie power) with the other 27 institutes. On top of that, NIH rolls up under Health and Human Services and also rolling up under a completely separate operating division is the Center for Disease Control (CDC). The two operating divisions have an egregious amount of redundancy.
In other words:
the man has an agenda since the NIAID is competing for COVID budgets with CDC.
the whole NIAID needs to go. Don’t just fire Fauci, eliminate the redundancy completely.

Balzé HalzéThe President can't fire Fauci (as far as I know). What he can do is kick him off of the task force, which should have been done months ago.

RogBTrump can fire the politically appointed heads of various agencies but those people are only the tip of the deep state iceberg. These agencies are chock full of career people (ie the swamp) and they have have civil service protection. Virtually fireproof.
Just like the mainstream media, these bureaucrats are overwhelming liberal, and are going to frustrate Trump as long as he is in office. Draining the swamp is a great campaign slogan but short of the country being ruled by a benevolent dictator, it's not gonna happen.
30 years in the DC swamp has shown me that regardless of who's in the WH, it's not the appointed Secretaries and Assistant Secretaries who run the show.

az4783054The President is a smart leader. He knows "keep your friends close and keep your enemies closer." Dr. falsi is no certainly no friend to the President. He's got an agenda like any other liberal who hates the 'outsider'.
