November 29, 2019, proved to be the second highest day in history for National Instant Criminal Background Check System (NICS) background checks.

USA Today reports a total of 202,465 background checks were performed that day, a figure bested only by the 203,086 background checks performed on Black Friday 2017.

The Black Friday figures boost already soaring background check figures for 2019.

On November 26, Breitbart News reported that there had been 22,858,104 background checks conducted between January 1, 2019, and the end of October 2019. The record for one year is 27.5 million checks.

Background checks for the months of November and December could break the annual record.

Bloomberg News? That bunch of damned commies? Next time you see one of the Bloomberg commercials, watch it closely. They push the Mayors against illegal guns. The problem being is they want all guns to be illegal. Just a hidden agenda they won't say openly because it'll lose a bunch of votes. Not that I'd vote for the GDC under any circumstance.

Oh, also notice that he wants to rebuild America. I didn't know it needed rebuilding, just eliminate those that hate it.

I may be missing it, but what does this have to do with Bloomberg News?

I waited til Saturday

I'm picking up some lowers later this week. No background check for me here in IA, my CCW permit eliminates that. 4473, of course.

Drove by my LGS Friday and they were packed. Same with Saturday.
Face to face sale with my new to me CZ so no background check or forms.

Of course what the anti gunners that want 'better' back ground checks and such don't know, and I'm very glad of it is I dropped by my LGS last week and picked up a Sig P239 and there was no background check..... perfectly legal....here in S.C.

Oh, and did a face to fact two weeks ago for a P226 Legion....
