Such a Godly man. Well done, good and faithful servant.

He and his sons continued to make the Unashamed podcast after Duck Dynasty ended. He also had a show on The Blaze that was fascinating. In the first episode, he showed how to prep a duck for eating; the show was about Phil's day-to-day life.

Phone's ringing, Dude.

I agree Phil was a very Godly man and it seemed genuine to me.

I also missed them when DD ended. Just saw a few days ago DD has been rebooted and will start airing again soon.

Will be weird watching the reboot and seeing him still showing up.

While he was retired for the most part at the ending of DD he still had a good amount of quality air time.

The reboot on A&E is scheduled to start June 1.

It will be called Duck Dynasty The Revival and will be two seasons of 20 one hour shows per season.

May God be with you Phil.

Had the opportunity to meet his son when he came to town a few years back, and got the impression that this family is as genuine as they come. What a godly and humble man, who didn't allow fame, liberal criticism, or money to sway his personal beliefs at all. He also left a great legacy through his sons and grandkids. Well done good and faithful servant indeed.

He fought the good fight. He finished the race. He kept the faith.

Sad that he has passed.

I thought it interesting that he was a star QB and started ahead of Terry Bradshaw in College.

Phil is as real as dude as has lived. His life was radically transformed when he encountered Jesus and he was not ashamed to tell people about it. Such a rich life and he will be missed. Amazing that he was given such an enormous mainstream platform over the last 15 years and awesome to see the nation flock (pun intended) to the family’s positive Christian image and message.

Hope my dad and him can get together and shoot a duck in the great by and by in between worship sessions.

I'm gonna vote for the funniest frog with the loudest croak on the highest log.

Isn't that crazy? He was asked to go pro, or drafted, (I don't recall specifically), and he asked if he could still hunt in duck season. He was told no, so he didn't turn pro. Smile
