Hoping they get this cleared up quickly and you're reunited soon. No shame in missing your family or being sad, I'd question it if you were not.

I can't begin to comprehend how you feel, but I'm sure it is not easy. I'm sorry it has worked out that way, but hopefully it will work out soon.

Thank you for your service. My 20 (USAF) was not as daunting.

I don’t have anything substantial to add except that I wish you a quick and happy resolution to your problems in Korea.

Hang in there OTTO and soon you will be leaving the "Land of the Morning Calm"...... 1970 I had 1 week left in Korea before heading back to the states on a PCS move when was told to report to the battalion commanders office where I was offerd a immedate promotion from E-5 to E-6 if I would volunteer to extend my tour till they could get a full time replacement because the section chief was getting a compasionate re-assignment back to the states. ... To put it nicely my reply was not no but hell no because I was going home.... Had the offer been made a couple of months earlier I might have jumped on it. .......Hang in there and you will be home soon. ......................... drill sgt.

I'm sure you are working through this as best as can be done; it can really add up sometimes. Feeling overwhelmed is natural and okay. If you feel particularly bad about things, find someone to talk with about it - don't keep it all to yourself.

Hang in there.

I’m sorry for your problems and they can lead to a depressed mental outlook for sure. One thing that has helped me tremendously in the past in my crappy outlook is. (And this technique was given to me by another.) To literally sit down get a sheet of paper and make a “Written” (not mental) gratitude list. It has never failed to lift my spirits. Also you will be amazed at all you are thankful for. Later when the unfairness of it all crepes back in, sit down and read your list of things you care about. Worked for me and many others. Hope your problems get solved soon, but I bet you will find some good will come from it, if you look for it.
