Couldn't whoever did your trust provide you a reprint?

I don't have one, but sounds reasonable?

Ask the ATF?

Do they even keep copies? I figured they'd just go over them to make sure it's legit and then approve and shred your submitted trust.

Can you draw up a new trust using the same name and trustees?

Don't you send them the entire thing, application and supporting docs, when doing the tax stamp? That what I did, when doing my 2 SBRs.

Do you have a Silencer Shop account? I'm pretty sure I uploaded my Trust there and maybe also had to create an acct with the ATF.

I have a few SIGs.

I had a similar scare when I misplaced my trust docs after moving. First thing I’d do is check old emails or cloud storage if you saved a digital copy. If you used a lawyer or an online service to set it up, they might still have a record. Worst case, if you sent it to the ATF with your Form 1, you could try reaching out to them, though that might take a while. Definitely worth exhausting those options before dropping cash on a new trust and transfer fees.

They do not keep copies. You can file a 24 month exemption once you get an approval, but this is just a statement that your already approved trust has not changed.

Thanks. Gonna contact atf and attorney. I thought about those but not sure atf would keep a copy or the attorney
