I add them to my cart, go to checkout and it just doesn't work. I get to the checkout page and try to put in my address but the spinny circles just keep on spinnin and the checkout button stays disabled. I can't get to the payment screen which I assume is next. I've tried all browsers.
Can anyone confirm? Does any of your browsers allow it to work?
Anyway, any idea where I can get a 12v-0-12v 1.66A toroidal transformer for US voltage? If I can't find another source I'll call them on Monday. This message has been edited. Last edited by: mark123,

DigiKey and Mouser are my go-to's for that kind of thing.

It’s a slightly higher current rating, but here’s one:

Thanks. I was wondering if my firewall was blocking something. I’ll call them Monday.

I finally called. They got the same spinning circle with no shipping pricing. The nice lady asked me to try it again later.

Wait… you called Jaycar, and their response was “yup, looks like the website isn’t working”? And that was it? Jesus.

Mark,
Or anyone really ... what might something like that be used-for? Desktop PC build? APC power backup type build?

The possibilities are endless. Basically anything that uses a plug in power transformer/wall wart. I’m using it for guitar effects builds.
I may end up just winding a prototype myself since these are way bigger than I really need. Or I may have to just go with an traditional style EI transformer to start.

On my Windows 10 machine, it did not work on Google Chrome but did fine on Microsoft Edge with default settings.
There are a host of poorly-programmed sites like that. One reason I lock down Chrome (privacy, etc.) but have Edge, Firefox and Opera pinned to my taskbar for when I run into one like that.

I tried again on Edge and got the same result as I did before. No luck.

To be clear, my usual browser is locked down for privacy, security etc. but I run Edge as one of my secondary browsers, set up to accept all cookies, enabling all and sundry tech. If your Edge wasn't working it may be your security settings.
After each session with any of the secondaries, I turn CCleaner loose and clean out all cookies, cache, etc.

I was so happy when the add-to-cart function actually worked in Edge and gave the popup with a nice green 'checkout' button, I thought, "That's that, problem solved..."
Well, crap.
Thinking that in case the site turned out not to work for you, I would see if I could buy it and have it shipped to your address...and went a little further.
It turns out in the actual checkout page (not the popup where things get added) the "Checkout" button there is brown, and does nothing.
Tried Firefox and Opera too. No swirls, no waiting, no spinning lights, but no joy - a dead brown "Checkout" button on the cart page for all three browsers.
Now, it is an Australian site - maybe they check IP addresses and don't allow US orders?

They're supposed to ship to USA from the .US site but they just don't have it working. I did try their austrailian site and it would pop up the shipping cost for anywhere in austrailia. I'm sure the shipping would have been a killer anyway.
Thanks for trying it out.

The original site wouldn't let me past entering USA as the destination. Call them.
Shipping would be $30 or more from Australia.
What are you building?

Mouser does have a bunch of lower current rated ones.

Works for me on Safari.
You don't happen to be running a VPN connection do you? I've had issues with that at several sites, and that's now my default first try to "fix" when a site bombs.

No. only when I’m away from home and connect to a foreign WiFi. When I’m at a restaurant or the gym I’ll connect to their WiFi and activate my home-based VPN too keep everything encrypted and apply my ad blockers.
I’m trying Safari now. Still getting the spinning circles and no shipping charges loaded.
I think I’m going to go with the Mouser EI anyway. I’ve dealt with them and they’re reliable.

The nice lady did say "you can wait and try again" to which I replied, "if it still doesn't work, should I call back".
