Purdue stinks this year. Only win is Indiana State but came close twice resulting in OT losses.

#3 tOSU is 7-1 and only loss is to #1 Oregon Ducks and that was by 1 point. BTW, when Purdue played Oregon they lost by 35.

ND kicked their butt 66 to 7. Gotta figure a similar score. The cheer when I was in college was "Screw Purdue". The days of Leroy Keyes are long gone. NIL makes it even harder. On the other hand it is always fun to see Ryan Day lose his shit.

Lots of people asking that question including chants at Men's basketball this week. About 5 years ago Purdue sent out an announcement fully embracing the PC/DEI BS. I told my Purdue Graduate wife that they should have changed the mascot name from Purdue Pete to Purdue Person.
When we set up a new router Tuesday she named it Purdue Person.
The email you linked seems to be yet another step down that path.
I'll bet if Painter has an equally bad season (unlikely I know) and similar chants start they suddenly won't have a problem with them.
