Here's something I learned about the New York Yankees which I did not previously know. Whenever a Police Officer is murdered in the line of duty anywhere in the country, the Yankee organization sends a bouquet of flowers to the either the family at his/her home or the Officers station if they can't find his home address. I know it's fashionable to hate on anything NY in some circles but IMHO, this is a class act.

Agreed. That’s is a very classy gesture they show by doing this.

In the world of sports, everyone needs a baddie to fight against, mostly in movies and TV. Soooo, every underdog baseball team in any league will have to defeat their Yankee-level farm team.
With 26 World Series wins, it's gonna make some enemies along the way. The emotions generated will be biblical... envy mostly. TO be expected.
