There’s a company called “Extend My Seat” that makes spendy little kits that give your vehicle 3-6” of extra legroom. I ordered a drivers side kit ($267) and got a tracking number the same day. Impressive! Then I waited for it to actually ship. And I waited, and waited. Finally a week had gone by and I started emailing them (they have no published phone number). The only way I could contact someone was with a chat session via their website. They kept stating someone would be in touch. Well several more days went by and it still had not shipped and all I got was the run around, so I called my credit card company and did a charge back. Problem is I could really use this in my 4Runner. No one else makes or sells a product like this. What do y’all suggest?

.

Their phone number is (949) 478-4806

but since they have a public Twitter account, I have found posting a complaint where everyone can see it usually gets me a quicker response from companies that have next to no customer service.

Good Luck!

Thank you for that.. but that number isn’t answered. You can “text” them, that’s it. I did leave a scathing complaint on their FB page as well. Problem is I really need this item, but I can’t get it!

Near as I an see it don't look good. I don't see anything going with Extend My Seat after 2018. And 2018 is mostly about people not getting their product.

The only public address they have used 3186-H Airway Ave, Costa Mesa, CA 92626 is an 4150 SQ Foot office building it is now Paige Elise Interior Designs.

Just because you can,
doesn't mean you should

On a related subject, I would be very very concerned with the safety aspect of using this approach to solve your problem.
I'm not just talking about the physical strength of the brackets but also things like the way your body interacts with the seatbelts and airbags.
Lawsuits may have been part of this businesses problem.

Leg length was the reason I bought my Ford Edge. It gave me more room for my long legs than almost any other vehicle that I tried.

The Edge was my second choice, the F-150 was better, but who can afford those in today's market?

If you find another source for this, you may want to check with your insurance agent to see if this would negate your coverage. It is a major change from the original factory installation after all.
