Falsely accused and released to an angry mob. Tied up unable to move and being eaten internally by small creatures that I cannot see while being crushed underneath the wheels of an agonizingly slow moving train. Big Grin

During my cardiology fellowship, we got a call at the county hospital, where EMT calls were triaged. EMT’s found a guy who had tried breaking into a meat rendering plant by climbing down the chimney. He got stuck. The fire was on down below.
The EMT’s were asking permission not to do CPR; the guy already had fat drippings falling down into the fire and stoking it.

Think late stage ALS/MS. Or Metallica's "One".

As terrifying/painful as these others would be, they're at least comparatively quick.

Locked In Syndrome would indeed be mentally awful.

Did they call the owners and ask if they wanted to keep the meat?

"Some things are apparent. Where government moves in, community retreats, civil society disintegrates and our ability to control our own destiny atrophies. The result is: families under siege; war in the streets; unapologetic expropriation of property; the precipitous decline of the rule of law; the rapid rise of corruption; the loss of civility and the triumph of deceit. The result is a debased, debauched culture which finds moral depravity entertaining and virtue contemptible."
-- Justice Janice Rogers Brown
