erj_pilotI was taking up the adventure of reloading rifle brass (5.56/.223) for the first time and SIGforum came up in the search results for the question I typed in Yahoo Search. It all went downhill from there...
This is honestly one of the best overall forum boards out there...thanks Mr. Para. No bloat-ware, annoying ads, or mamby-pamby 8-year olds, as found on many forum boards.

ravens1775My old man is also a member. It took a few years of "hey, this guy Sigforum said", or "I was reading Sigforum the other day" before I decided to check it out. Been part of my internet routine ever since.

I heard he also had Sig Forum, and having just bought my first Sig (a 9mm P239) I figured I just had to join.

ontmarkI picked up my SIG P226R with Crimson Trace SIG Logoed grips that I ordered from a LGS on 8-6-07.
It came with 12 round magazines which were not allowed for us common folks. OK for the California LEO Crowd. The store swapped them out for ten rounders when they delivered the Pistol to me. The ten round magazine followers did not have the same abutments protruding that would catch the slide stop lever on the final round to lock open the slide. I had the slide not locking back on the last round very frequently.
Search Google to find the only real answers here from the specialists. Joined to post my problem and been learning ever since. Sure glad this Family here accepted me even with my horrible spelling and grammar in some of my posts.
Thanks Everyone and Mods.

Found the pistol was good to go. Also found the lounge. The humor as well as knowledge sold me.
I'm no computer nerd but damned if I can find anything even close to this place.
