The Ice Cream Man |
We still have to meet the parents, etc but my girlfriend and I are probably getting married fairly soon. She’s hinted that she likes the idea of wearing an particular old ring that’s been in my family for a long time - I think it’s Art Nouveau - nothing particularly valuable, just old/well-made. (Lots of delicate flowers in the Pt holding a couple of diamonds, cut to look like a larger rectangular stone) It predates engagement rings, so it’s not really meant to pair with anything. All I can think of is a slender simple band to ride against it - my mother had something similar.

My wife wears what was my grandmothers wedding ring that I had tastefully modified and updated as an engagement ring. The work was done by a local jeweler (now retired). I had a diamond and emerald wedding band made at the same time that would nest with it. It worked/works great and gets her lots of compliments.

100% get with Dave. He did a mirrored band to my wife's wedding band, as a belated 10th anniversary item & did a phenomenal job. He also fixed some shoddy repairs that were done when her ring was originally resized. The Enemy's gate is down.
