Well, rules are rules. Aren't EMT's required to continue cpr all the way to the hospital, regardless if the patient seems hopelessly lost or not? I suppose losing a head could be a sure give away to how the doctor or coroner might pronounce him, but then again, gotta follow procedure.

Required to do CPR except when there are obvious signs of death. Those signs are Rigor, lividity, decapitation. A medic can call it with direction from medical control. Usually after a set amount of time and 3 rounds of meds. | |||
