If you find something with no reserve, or even used guns you can get some great deals. My only complaint is that the auction gun sights are like girl scout cookies, its hard to stop at just one purchase. I have had good success with them, but in full disclosure I've only made about 30 purchases (firearms and accessories) over the 12 years I've been on GB. The greatest thing I like is the 15 minute rule, no one can come in last second without you having a chance to re-bid.

Like Ebay...no incentice to bid early as there is a specify time for the auction to end. However, unlike a eBay, the auction is extended at increments once a competing bid is made. Call them up, i've had luck buying them off gunbroker.

I sold 6 boxes of Black Talon ammo on Gunbroker yesterday. The Buyer initially contacted me through the Gunbroker email system and we eventually came to an agreement on a price...set a time when he and I would be on a computer at the same time and I lowered the asking price and reserve slightly and he bought it right then before someone could buy it before him. Even though we agreed to a price outside of the GB system I still ran it through GB because it just was the right thing to do.
It seems like quality/high end items sell well on GB....I got $270.00 for 6- 20 round boxes of 9mm Black Talon and that was about the value compared to other sales on GB.
