I have three concrete bird baths.

The largest at 30" across ,holds 2 gal. Of water.
The other two hold a gal. Each.

The largest seems to hold a gallon of water the longest, one of the smaller baths holds it a lot shorter period and the third comes in right between.

All three have very different textures , none are painted.

All were purchased at garage sales.

Who would a guy contact to find out why all three have different durations of water loss ?

I am sure the recipes are all different.
The largest appears to have a lot of gravel in the mix.

I have never seen bird balls for sale at a garage sale. But if I ever did, I’d reckon I’d have a few questions for the owner.

It must be an Illinois thing…

The water soaks into the concrete. Just use a concrete sealer.

I have seen turkey fries on the appetizer menus in several upscale restaurants. So yes, there are turkey balls.
