From the linked article:

a pair of commissions argued the signs had harmed Indigenous people
How? How does a sign "harm Indigenous people?"

Do these "commissions" actually represent the allegedly harmed Indigenous people?

I find it ironic, that in Europe, many of the countries that had Concentration camps have worked to preserve history. Yet, In America, so many choose to "fundamentally change" (destroy, erase and/or worse, re-write/misrepresent/lie) history.

History, even those that we find abhorrent, the symbols or artifacts should be preserved, so that people who choose to know, study and learn, may do so at their will.

But to destroy history, because it offends you, is the first step towards the very thing that you are offended of from that history.

Seems, those set out to destroy are in some Freudian way, trying to hide their darkened thoughts and desires.

While those who often stand to see history preserved, good/or bad, are often those who either were or will be the next targeted.

Where would we be today if those heroic individuals didn't do what they did in the pursuit of freedom? They deserve to be remembered and thanked.

Massachusetts in 1635. God that must of been paradise.

That a pivotal moment in American history happened at Concord makes no difference to the DEI people. They hate the country and how or why it was founded, going clear back to Christopher Columbus. Roll Eyes Had they been alive in 1775 they'd have sided with the British.

It is interesting, in order to include natives, we somehow must erase their memory. We exclude all mascots and forbid the wearing of anything native in the name of avoiding cultural appropriation. We essentially eliminate their history, so in 100 years, they will be completely forgotten. If not completely forgotten, marginalized to the point of irrelevance. Gotta love inclusion.
