| And what is the poor Doc supposed to say when you bring him that sorry history? Does it burn behind your eyeballs when you urinate?

Oh, I'm serious. Been this way for years. I've asked a couple of docs over the years, I've always gotten a "huh, really? That's strange." And then they move on. Of course I've never consulted a specialist about it, it's never really bothered me much. I figure it has to be neurological. I've had some back & neck issues. No surgeries, but I'm sure there is some damaged tissue in there. Harlequin syndrome seems the closest fit. |

I had the same problem (without the odd sweating) for 8 - 10 years and was progressively getting worse. Ended up with a quadruple bypass. 4 arteries blocked 60 - 90% each. Please don't let that happen to you.
Read the OP. The shortness of breath is due to sarcoidosis. Granular Pulmonary Sarcoidosis, to be precise. My lungs are scarred. It is much better after spending a year on high doses of prednisone. Other things are cropping up due to the steroids, but my lungs are about as good as they're gonna be... |

All my "work" hats & caps have salt stains on the left side. Weird, right? But.... When I eat hot, spicy food ( jalapeños, habanero, etc) I sweat out of the right side. Only.
What gives?
The solution is simple, run then eat spicy food, and the balance is restored. But seriously, I would consult the family doctor. |
