in Hermiston, OR a small town of 30,000 we hold a party for veterans, first responders, active duty, and their families.

This lasts from Friday morning (set up) until Monday afternoon (take down)

Kids are welcome until 21:00 (9:00 PM) as the shenanigans start around then... you know grown men reliving barracks games and such.

Hardware (firearms, knives) is welcome there both concealed and open carry.

The food this afternoon/evening was smoked tri-tip, smoked turkey breast, sausages, pasta salad, and macaroni salad.... and it was fabulous.

They hold raffles there also to fund raise as they help fellow veterans, first responders, and their families. In fact we helped a single working mom Army vet with groceries just last month.

Come on down to Joy Lane (head east from Hwy 395 just north of Hermiston and enjoy a family event.

No we don't care if you wear a mask or not (we prefer you don't), and we won't ask your medical history.

Bring your own alcohol; water, pedialyte, and soda pop provided.

I know Memorial Day is over six months away, but I hope we see some of you there.

Dave
