Hot Sleepers have any of you tried or use this product ???>>>
I am a hot sleeper that loves to have the AC and fan on when I sleep. In a few weeks it will start to get warmer here and even with the fan and AC on, I still find myself sweating when it is really really warm outside. I was looking into some product called that have a fan directed into the bed under the sheets. Have any of you tried or use any of these and how do you like it ? Thank you for any info and sharing any experience. God Bless Smile

Here is one I am considering:

You know what I do? In the summer, I like to sleep with a thin blanket sheet over me while the fan or air conditioning is going minimally.

I use the thin blanket sheet to fool my brain that it's actually cold because I have a sheet over me. It helps as I fall into a deep sleep.

I also visualize a scene from one of the episodes of Survivor Man where he's crossing a frozen lake on a dog sled. He's sleeping and he just piled branches with leaves on top of the ground and on top of each other on which he laid on top. I imagine what it'd feel like to be in that situation and I fall off to sleep.

"It did not really matter what we expected from life, but rather what life expected from us. We needed to stop asking about the meaning of life, and instead to think of ourselves as those who were being questioned by life – daily and hourly. Our answer must consist not in talk and meditation, but in right action and in right conduct. Life ultimately means taking the responsibility to find the right answer to its problems and to fulfill the tasks which it constantly sets for each individual." Viktor Frankl, Man's Search for Meaning, 1946.

We have a Temperpedic foam mattress, and the wife sleeps very hot with it. We just got a down - alternative mattress topper and so far (2 weeks) she's sleeping much better.
The topper will help wick away sweat, and promote airflow to help with temperature control.
I'd try that before the fan, but I have heard good things about the bed fan (if you can get used to it).

I shall respect you until you open your mouth, from that point on, you must earn it yourself.

Usually it's not too much of problem for me, but I have a small fan on the floor for very warm evenings where the fan catches the edge of the sheet on my side and it billows up with cooler air. Guess I was never clever enough to take it a step further to patent the idea. Big Grin

I am in the same boat. Our room is the farthest from the a/c handler/unit and we put in a portable/upright a/c unit to combat the heat. Our comforter is a little warm and keeps in the heat as well. The funny thing is when I get hot, I remove the covers but about a 1/2 hour later, after falling asleep, I wake up freezing. Go figure.

Interesting idea. I can't sleep with sheets tucked in, so it would never work for me.

I have no experience with the bed fan but my husband is always hot so I got him a "cooling" pillow. They carry them at J.C. Penny. He says it really does help & he's had it for several years now.

My girlfriend has a bedfan. She loves it. But it freezes my feet!
