First, this is about the way I expect the Civil War II to play out.
Second, I appreciate how he was woken up just for a quick lecture on the FO portion of the FA.
Lastly, I think our society would be better off with more of this. If you say you're going to do something it should be believed, and subject to an appropriate physical response closely equivalent to your threat.
Note that this is his second set of Terroristic Threatening charges in less than 3 months. He was also arrested back in May after storming into a county government building and threatening two county workers with a gun.
He was also apparently arrested for disorderly conduct in May, had to be removed from a town hall meeting after an altercation with another politician, and currently has several restraining orders against him.
Clearly not the most mentally stable of individuals.
I would guess this cretin's predictable behavior and temperament is great election fodder for any potential opponent. So easily provoked, I expect to see more incidents in the future.

He's described as a "long shot candidate" and he's an even longer shot now. Apparently, he's been arrested several times for this kind of juvenile behavior.
He got what he had coming, but I get the impression he's not bright enough to be embarrassed by it being splashed all over the internet. For those who repeat the old saw that there's no such thing as bad press, I present this as Exhibit A against that idea.
Shooting his mouth off, on the beach while only having lived in Maui for 6-years, not exactly a way to endear himself to the locals; to which he gets informed by a local Poly guy. Probably should start packing-up and move off the islands.
Speaking of Maui, what's with all the public violence? Masked youths breaking into stores. Middle-aged couple gets carjacked on Hana road. Family staying at a resort gets assaulted by locals resulting in a large brawl. Local political candidate threatens an elder and then gets quick tune-up.

I had this discussion recently with my fam on Maui. It’s the same problem as on the mainland. They are all on that social media. On there is pure toxicity and divisiveness. Black vs. White. Gay vs. Straight. Men bad, the patriarchy! So women vs. men. Gen Z is all PC but at the same time, ageists. So this generation vs. that generation. And the locals are definitely fired up, just the same, towards the haoles. I see this same toxicity, locally, pretty much everywhere. So many acting like a fuse waiting to go off. Our society is so divided. It is tribalism run amuck.
I will be going before the end of the year. Definitely will be with locals at all times or inside. Not going to take the risk being solo anywhere, definitely at night. The island hasn’t been busy, not like normal. Tourism is down and not due to the Lahaina fires. Inflation, gas prices, etc. Less tourism = less money. More time on their hands to get irate at whatever, spending more time on the phones.

You have to be a complete dipshit to have spent even a half hour anywhere in Hawaii and think you're gonna act like that around locals and not get your face beat in. It doesnt help that he looks the way he does and he's wearing skivvies at the beach.
I lived there for 2 years, they're very big on respect, no one ever fucked with me, but I also didnt act like a clown.
