Our shoes come off in the garage.

Do you strip off all your clothes in the garage to get rid of the COVID?

Hey, it could be fun and your boys could get a baby sister.

TXJIM, your Adidas DPRs are NOT slip ons. Frown They're laced.

I like Merrell, at last count I think I have 3 various styles of their slip ons.

Yes, but the Huarache have a contiguous tongue and the laces are not needed. They are just there for when you need to crank them down.

I like LL Bean "slides." Very comfortable, last forever, and shine well if you decide to polish.

I do the garage thing, too. I spent 35 year working with sick, diseased federal inmates, both in the prisons and at local hospitals. I've stripped in the garage for years. Not paranoid or germaphobic, just careful. I'm also immune-compromised and old.

Croc's for yard work, hanging in garage, outdoor stuff, rubbery, soft, easy to clean.

Sketchers for me. I usually get the BOGO deal and alternate wearing them. The 2 pairs will last me about 1.5 years.

Olukai. There are mesh synthetics and leather. I have tried Seavees and Vans and they are more trendy apparently but not as comfy IMO.

Digging these but not in my size.

The boys want some more Vans so I may get a set of those so I can be cool like them.

What do you wear? I wear a 15 and these guys go past that I thought... Just like vans- not every shoe is available in gigantic but some standard ones are. That’s half the reason I responded- I thought you were one of us 6’6”+ types and my info might help- sorry if I wasn’t clear enough...
Go to their site and filter that way- by size. No joke- every shoe even flip flops are comfortable. The leather slip-ons seem to run a little big but that may be because they stretch out.

I just saw you said No LEATHER. My bad. That leaves the Nohea Moku no-tie shoe as the only non sandal. It’s pretty great but I get if that isn’t your style.

As for vans- they are sweet looking but a bit narrow. I am 15d but ALMOST a narrow except for my knee sized heel. Lol. So I have worn the ultra-Cush with laces but the classic loafers are a bit tight in the heel at first. Otherwise pretty true to size....

Same with Seavees really.

As an after thought... IF you are between 14-15 most of the mesh slip-on Olukai in 14 are a good fit. I actually bought 14 in the leather slip-one when I was IN store trying them on.

Let us know what you settle on or if you have any new intel! Lol

They make them just out of stock currently.

I am a 13 or 14 shoe dependent.

I had been fighting the Crocs fad for a loooooooong time. While I was at Bass Pro Shops recently, I walked by the shoe department to try on some stuff and my arm accidentally snagged a pair that were my size and they fell on the ground. Tried them on and now they're all I wear around the house. Light, comfy, and cheap enough. If you have access to Expertvoice, they offer a 30% discount.

I have had a pair of their (Olukai) leather slip-ons for a couple years...they are very comfy

At this point they look like they came of the feet of a dirty hippie (I use them in the yard) but they have held up great
