The antenna on the drone landing ship often gets interference from the landing rocket itself, so it's pretty normal for it to cut out just prior to landing and then pop up with it sitting there.

How did you see it? Neither of the TV channels I was watching actually showed the booster landing. There was a "F9" error right at the moment of landing. I was very upset.
