WooHoo I finally drew a Nevada Archery Mule Deer Tag, it was my fifth choice, but at least I finally drew the tag.

I have not hunted there in 17 years or with my brother, this will be our first hunt since 1998, and I lived there most of my life.

Time to start shooting and getting ready for some serious hiking.

Oh and did i mention WooHoo I am jacked... Razz Smile Big Grin

Nice, congrats Wink . It does take some time to build up those muscles required to use your bow after not shooting for the off season. I need to start shooting mine soon. Best of luck.

What is the terrain like where you drew?
What type of a shot do you think could happen?

It will be hot, it opens August 10th and is usually in the 100's so you only hunt in the A.M. and hope you find one to put the "sneaks" on and then evening hunts.

Terrain is very steep and mountainous with sagebrush over your head.

But I can't wait, I will be shooting in a few hours for the first time this year.
