I somehow missed this comment before. It seemed like that was the case from the footage, but I'm glad to hear it. He spoke the truth, and did so in a clear, concise manner that cannot be argued with and he punctuated it with a statement that spoke directly to the hearts of everyone in the crowd. We need more people like him. In fact, we have a lot of people like him, we just need to start speaking up the way he did. Likely, he's been quiet a long time because he just wanted to be left alone, like the rest of us.

^^^This. I'm not a white American, my wife is not an Asian American. We are all Americans. I hate hyphenated Americans and identity politics.

My son spoke at James City County board of supervisors regular meeting. They had a opened up for public comment. This fight is going to be very contentious.

I thought the same thing. I just see a friend, neighbor, and fellow American. No hyphens necessary.
