Who do you recommend for insurance on your motorcycle? My car/homeowners policy is with Travelers.

I use GEICO for my motorcycle.

I do know that Amica sucks sweaty balls at motorcycle insurance. I was excited when they started offering it as I had homeowners and auto with them, and was happy. I became less excited when the policy arrived as a strike out of their auto policy. I had a claim too and they couldn't tie velcro shoes. Dumped them as soon as the year was up.

Progressive. They have been pretty good on the annual premiums for all of mine. I’m still baffled by the price decreases every year but I’m thanking God for them.

Progressive, but you'll definitely want to call around for pricing.
If you have experience riding, make sure you tell them.

I would definitely call several and get quotes. I found that the cheapest way for me was using the same company (American Family) as I use for my pickup and renters ins. There are discounts for multi-vehicle and bundling.

All my vehicles and my house/property are with State Farm. I started with SF on my first car more than 50 years ago and they've met my insurance needs ever since.

Don't know if it's the cheapest, and don't care. The service has been impeccable and there's no getting around the aphorism that you get what you pay for.

Progressive was the best rate for me the last two years but it seems to vary by State.

What bike do you have on order?

I pay $201/year for liability on 4 motorcycles through Dairyland Insurance. That equates to $16.75/month or $4.19/month per motorcycle. That's wayyyy cheaper than I was paying Allstate, and when I looked around, was better than anyone else would give me for multiple motorcycles. Everyone else wanted one policy per motorcycle and each one was still more expensive than the 4 bikes on one combined policy through Dairyland. My motorcycles are older/cheaper, so no point to full coverage. I don't have any other insurance through Dairyland, just the bikes.

State Farm for everything.

State Farm with all my other insurances.

My daughter had a bad experience with a claim using Progressive. That was about 10 years ago. Neither she nor I will ever buy Progressive insurance again.

Yeah Dairyland is real competitive on cycle insurance. I used to have them until they pulled out of WV. That's when I switched to Progressive and while Progressive was just a bit higher the liability limits are a step higher. With both I have full coverage on all bikes with $2,000 additional for damage or loss of accessories, riding gear, helmet, etc., and tow coverage.
