Is that a Nike swoosh on that head covering?
Politicians seem to have forgotten that they work for us, not the other way around.

downtownvWho cares? I care more about her upholding American laws and constitution then what the hell she wears. Hell, a town In Illinois, hired an illegal alien to be a member of its police force. I have a much bigger problem with that.

IIRC he used a legal-immigrant cousin's ID when he applied, and was fired and deported as soon as the town found out. I can't remember what town it was, but it was a Chicago suburb.
Not a conscious act on the government's part here.

I wonder what will happen now with the new president there. I understand he is liberal.
I wonder the same thing. I know he's more liberal and willing to merge more with the european union, but I read he still may be classified as a "conservative".

Magyar is not a liberal but more of a traditional conservative, a religious family man that is against the EU's open-immigration & asylum policies.
He originally was apart of Orban's party but, broke away after a presidential pardon was given for a man convicted of covering up paedophilia in a children’s home resulting in many from his party (Fidesz) souring and distancing themselves from him. Little by little Orban installed all his friends in various cabinet positions, allowed concentration of various industries to just a handful of friendly power-brokers while also nationalizing the media; for all intents the gov controlled large chunks of the economy, the news and what could be broadcasted to the public. Contrast that to what the rest of the free world has or, just how things function in Europe in-general and not a surprise the people voted overwhelmingly they'd had enough.

oddballMost Brits think their country would be the 6th or 7th richest state in the U.S. (GDP per capita), but they are actually 51st, poorer than Mississippi.
