Need some new gas grill burner covers, I am sure they have an actual name, or maybe not. Mine are rusted to bits. The grill is old. It’s a house brand for Home Depot or Lowe’s but don’t remember which. All the branding was on the lid but that was replaced with a recall many moons ago and the replacement lid has no markings. These are 16.25” long and 4” wide. I know patterns of airflow matter for these things so some will work better than others. So what should I replace them with? Yeah, I’d love to replace the whole thing with a Napoleon but I don’t get to grill enough for that so I can’t justify one. I have a Weber Kettle and just picked up a Sam’s Club Brand propane griddle. ———————————————— The world's not perfect, but it's not that bad. If we got each other, and that's all we have. Got a model number? Look for a tag on it somewhere. I have bought numerous 3rd party grill parts on Amazon for the last 2 CharBroil gas grills I have owned. If you are replacing the grates consider "Grill Grates". They make custom grates for many different grills. They made a noticeable difference for me. That is a common size, you should be able to find it easily on Amazon. I found a lot of parts there for my Jenn Air gas grill.

I took a quick peek on Amazon and found a ton. However none look like the current pattern. I wasn’t sure if one pattern was better than another. ———————————————— The world's not perfect, but it's not that bad. If we got each other, and that's all we have. They are known as heat tents and Weber calls them "Flavorizer Bars". Just measure them and look for replacements on Amazon. They are something that you are expected to replace every few years as they basically burn up. I'd replace your burner tubes as well if they are looking iffy while you are doing this. I'm a fan of this site for parts if Amazon doesn't have what you need: https://grillparts.com/

Amazon is your friend. I have a DCS built in grill. It takes two grates (side by side) that hold ceramic bars. One of the grates is old, rusting and fell apart. I went the DCS website, $210. I went to Amazon, $40-$50.

I was recently looking to replace some of these parts on my Weber grill instead of purchasing a new one. I looked up the part numbers on the Weber site, and was planning to order replacements to rebuild. A few years ago I must have registered my grill. Much to my surprise the parts I was going to order were reported to be under warranty (The grill is >5 yrs old). I sent in pictures as requested and Weber has sent me replacement parts. They replaced the burner tubes, the grates, and the electronic starting system. They said that if the flavorizer bars crack, they would replace them as well as soon as I sent in pictures. Saved me a few bucks and gained a happy customer. --K
