83v45magnaHas State Farm been hacked today?
Two computers, statefarm.com brings a '403 Forbidden' page. Anyone else?

Good idea, thanks.
~ tried just now and it says 404 - not found
Wife has a company laptop (that she won't login from) but it
will go to the site, we just tried it.
One commonality between the two desktops is they both use Avast AV. I already tried disabling Avast on one the desktops but no joy.
We're having no other trouble that we know of. I just tried with my phone using chrome and get the same 403 Forbidden page. The phone has Kaspersky AV. I am gonna guess some kind of router firewall thing doesn't like state farm all of a sudden. My wife left for an appointment but I'm betting her laptop is connecting through a company VPN.

83v45magnaThanks guys, I think our gateway/router firewall is where our problem is. I need to see if I can white list the site or something. Thanks for the swift help.

jbcummings403 & 404 errors are usually given by the web server you are trying to access.
“A 403 Forbidden Error occurs when a web server forbids you from accessing the page you’re trying to open in your browser. Most of the time, there’s not much you can do. But sometimes, the problem might be on your end.“
So it sounds like you’re getting to the destination, but whatever url you provided wasn’t right. Possibly no login credentials for the 403. The 404 is just a page not found. Both are returned by the web server, not your router.

HobbsIf you're using Firefox, you can click on the 3-bars in the upper right corner of the browser > Help > Restart without browser add-ons. Then Firefox will restart with a pop-up and you click on Start in Safe Mode. Might be worth a try.
I only use Firefox and don't know about restarting other browsers without add-ons.
