I know about the Outer Space Treaty of 1967 that prohibits any nation from claiming ownership of any part of space but this goes a bit higher than any nation/state.

On July 20, 1969 Buzz Aldrin, being deputized by the grand master of the grand lodge of Texas, laid claim to Earth's moon for the Scottish Rite Freemasons, founding Tranquility Lodge #2000 for a time when ceremony and meetings can finally be held on the moon. For now, they just meet in Waco.

Wait a minute.....my first girlfriend was convinced SHE owned the moon....perhaps related to a confusing assertion involving mistaken intent & poorly constructed assurances....

But, sure as I'm sitting here, the Chinese communists will send some of their people, more than 50 years after us.

Well, according to the “documentary” 1964 movie “First Men IN the Moon”, it was claimed for Queen Victoria.

But the “Grand Duchy of Fenwick” disputes that claim with their “documentary” 1963 movie “Mouse on the Moon”.

Making an ownership claim is trivial. Anyone can lay claim. The treaty bans countries and not individuals.

However the gotcha in this instance is being able to defend your claim.

As far as the Chinese go, let them try.

One night back in the early 1970s I remarked to a friend that the full Moon was an impressive sight. His response was, “It’s ours, you know,” and that has been my own reply ever since. When I said that to a Dutch acquaintance much later, he launched into a (slightly outraged) explanation of how the Moon couldn’t belong to any one country. I just smiled.

The problem is that while "we" were there Aldrin claimed it for the Scottish Rite Freemasons. Sure there was an American flag facing the camera but on the other side is the two-headed phoenix.

While I don't acknowledge their authority, I'm not going to tell the Freemasons, Illuminati or other Luciferians that they don't own the moon. They can make your life difficult. I don't need that.
