Anyone have a suggestion on a specific model? Looking at the newer ascent series (A2500), just not sure which one.

i bought a 5200 at Costco a few years ago. Its a workhorse for making smoothies and things. My guess is it is a lifetime purchase.

I've got the 750 which is now in what they call the Legacy line. It was the top of the line at the time. The new line you are looking at looks really nice. I use the program settings all the time. It's really nice to be able to just set it to Smoothie..or self clean and let it go. Yes, you could look up how long to blend those and learn the manual settings but there is a lot to be said for convenience. For the extra $100 I'd get the top of the line again. You're only going to buy one of these once.

We have a 750 Professional Series. It's been used at least twice a day for about 2 years & shows no sign of giving up. The damn thing sure is noisy though. Our 2 labs leave the kitchen when my wife makes her smoothies.

Thanks everyone, I pulled the plug on the A2500 as that is really the only model at Bed Bath & Beyond. Also was able to use a 20% coupon and a bunch of gift cards.

Thanks again for the input!

Good choice.
You can't really wrong with any we have had the Pro 750 for about 5 years now and runs like a champ. It fits under the cabinets nicely, some of the others that have the tall pitcher do not.
