Nextdoor is surveillance software. Just like Facebook. I want nothing to do with them.

I have never asked for money as an adult. My mom might slip me a few bucks for gas when I was a teen. I never asked my Dad because I already knew the answer. You build self esteem and a sense of pride when you earn it yourself. I paid for my first car and house. I would not want it any other way.

This weekend is my birthday. I'll happily receive cash or that stale ammunition past its 90 day freshness date.

Twice in the recent months I've seen cars with "Just Married" and a venmo. Last spring there were cars announcing high school graduation and a venmo. I can't believe how shameless people are.

I have a friend who shares these Nextdoor and FB begger posts all the time with us for laughs.

At my age/size/weight, I start off naked, and charge them to put it back on.

My wife recently saw someone on FB begging for money to go on their dream vacation. If that wasn't bad enough, they were also complaining about no one donating. They didn't understand why people were so stingy with their money.
