There's not much point in buying a Sonicare and using cheap heads. You aren't getting the same cleaning power. It's like shooting WWB through your custom firearm.

Not Sonicare but Oral B. Seems all the aftermarket brush heads have sloppy fitment to the motor handle. Really irritating.

Semi-ditto. The off-brand heads fail outright or wear out quickly, not really saving any money in the long run. They never seem to clean as well, either.

My experience as well...

Type "Sonicare A3 vs C3" into the search window of your favorite browser; you will get a lot of information.

I’ve switched back and forth between the Sonicare and the Oral-B over the years and prefer the Oral-B which uses more a mechanical action to brush and not sonic.

I did find out the hard way early on with the Sonicare that you have to be careful to keep that thing in your mouth and your mouth closed when it’s running otherwise it’s splattering everywhere. Eek

IMHO, I like the C3 heads better than the A3, but both will do the job. For me, the comfort of the C3’s bristles is better.

Thanks for all the feedback. I ended up buying OEM A3 heads. I noticed for the first time that they're made in Austria, which is probably one of the reasons why they're expensive.
