Twice I've gone in and waited. Today I waited 4 hours and "the system" went down. They were unable guess when it would come back up. I was #2 in line at the time, per the app. I chatted with #1, he said he had been #1 for two hours. I left. The wife is totally pissed at me for letting it expire. I'd been avoiding the online renewal, you need a peripheral vision test to do it that way, costs $110.00. My appointment was for March 16, I can't do without a license that long. I get the eye test Friday, and will e-mail the renewal that day. They claim they'll email me a temp license by COB that day, haha.

KY recently went from county clerks doing the licenses to "regional" centers. Renewals used to take 10 to 15 minutes. They still do CCDW and LEOSA, in and out in 10 minutes or less.

I don't work anymore but I pay for a Microsoft 365 subscription. I have all my To-Do lists on just one page of OneNote and I attach Outlook tasks.

I have a list for one-offs, for the car, for the dogs, for things I do Weekly, Monthly, Inside of a Year, and Inter annual tasks.

When I was signing up for a Blockbuster membership that required photo ID, noticed it had been expired over a year. Exam and driving test required. For the last 2 renewals (10 years), I have renewed online. I will probably have to update my photo at next year's renewal. My current one is 15 years old. Probably have to make an appointment 3 months I advance I suspect.
