My ‘09 GSAR has just stopped. Happened twice this week. The watch is my daily wear so there is no reason for that. It always ran 1-2 minutes fast per week, so regulating it will be required as well. I’ve seen several repair companies on line, just looking for suggestions. I don’t believe David at Mimi’s works on Marathons, maybe I’m wrong? Thanks all.

I just sent them an EM. Thanks Mars. Hate to ship to Canada though, it can’t be cheap…

You might inquire about having Marathon send a Call Tag/Shipping Label, which could be billed to you as part of the service. Marathon probably gets MUCH better shipping rates, especially intl./ back & forth from US to Canada, than you could get at the local UPS Store.

Also, I noticed this popup offer when I accessed the Marathon website:

Free Marathon Knitted 'Toque' when you spend over $75 USD...Take off, Eh! Wink

Call Chris, he's got an authorized repair guy on the East Coast... North Carolina I think.

I asked about the shipping nhra, awaiting a response. CPD, I saw windy city mentioned in me search. I'll try them as well. Thanks.

Solid answers.

The guy in NC referenced above is good to go in my experience.

I’d also venture a guess that David can fix it. It’s a pretty common movement.

I used them as well and was satisfied.

No personal experience, but I've heard positive things about TM Watch Service:

https://tmwatchco.com/

Also, for Marathon, IIRC, you ship to a US Marathon address and they handle everything from there. But don't quote me on that. But like you, sending a watch out of country gives me pause...

Late to this thread... sorry.

But this question has come up before and here was my response from August 2020:
https://sigforum.com/eve/forum...810042374#8810042374

"Marathon itself repairs their watches here:
https://www.marathonwatch.com/...ance-repair-services. Complete service is $275USD.

Have heard zero complaints from other Marathon owners about their service.

My Oct/2001 military contract SAR automatic diver was serviced late last year by an outfit in Edina, Minnesota that my local watch purveyor uses. $250 ppd and no issues. https://rfmoeller.com/services...pairs/watch-repairs/ "
