Buyout occurred last month. This is the first I’ve heard of it.

Wow I thought that sounded familiar.

They already owned 20% back in 2018 and announced a year ago that they were going to buy the other 80% last January 2021. Must have finally closed on the deal a year later.

Yeah, they own a tremendous number of tool related businesses. They're huge. When you go buy a new tool, power or hand, there's a good chance that whatever brand is better than the other brand is already owned by them anyway.
