We cut the refrigerant line before we go to the landfill here. Get rid of that hazardous freon you know.

Our town picks them up. All we have to do is call the Refuse Department and schedule a date. They just require that you take the door off so no little kids can get trapped in it and suffocate.

Call a local used appliance place. Sometimes they'll take them for free to rob the good parts off of it to rebuild others.

Drive it out to some desolate stretch of county road, and look for the pile of other refrigerators and broken recliners. Leave it there.

I hope this was in jest, because I absolutely loath people that do this. Mad

Consider the source. I’d be very surprised if it were not in jest.

If so, then a proper emoji would remove any doubt. From his past postings and the fact that he is a lawyer I'm inclined to agree with you. It's just that I really hate people that do this kind of thing.

If you put an emoji, it isn't a joke or satire. Turn up the grain on the humor detector.

In my gated community I put out a stove and the landscape people tossed it on their truck before the trash people could pick it up.

They were polite and asked before they took it.

Around here, you can either buy a $15 appliance tag and schedule a pick up, or leave it out by the curb, and Sanford or son will pick it up, usually within 12 hours Smile

The only thing they haven’t picked up was an old microwave. Got rid of 2 fridges and a dehumidifier via the Sanford & son method.
