Still leaning toward a 1955 Hudson/Nash Rambler. Wonder if there's a Swamp Cooler on the other side?

220-9erNash Rambler.
I knew someone that had one when I was a kid.
Has that distinctive split rear passenger window and rear pillar shape.

bald1Looks like kkina nailed it as a 1955 Nash Rambler as it indeed looks like the picture he posted.
Got another picture which is a bit clearer. Car is parked next to a covered boat.

jhe888I think kkina has it. Same roof, door pillars, door handles, trim molding, hubcaps - same blocky proportions.

No, door handle an posts do not match
No wonder I'm not good at those "Spot the differences" puzzles. I first thought, "those are exact matches! what are you talking about?"
"It did not really matter what we expected from life, but rather what life expected from us. We needed to stop asking about the meaning of life, and instead to think of ourselves as those who were being questioned by life – daily and hourly. Our answer must consist not in talk and meditation, but in right action and in right conduct. Life ultimately means taking the responsibility to find the right answer to its problems and to fulfill the tasks which it constantly sets for each individual." Viktor Frankl, Man's Search for Meaning, 1946.
