Edge seeking Sharp blade! |
Lightweight (700 kilogram, minimum) paddle tire cars with around 700-1000 HP, they mostly run in loose gravel and sand. Started as fundraising for rescue squads in Iceland and is also raced in Norway and Sweden. They have a race in Tennessee sporadically. A competition usually has three set courses on the side of an impossible hill, with a 350 point score possible for each run. You lose points for not making gates, stopping, or backing up, and for not completing it. Often the final hill is nearly impossible. Time is also a factor and you lose points for how much slower than the fastest. It's kind of like motorcycle trials on a loose very steep hill in a 4WD race car. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8-LBb1Vyei0

You know it’s a steep hill when the sand starts to act like water. Super cool. Thanks for sharing. If you like this, check out KOH (King of the Hammers) Ultra 4 racing. The “lol” thread
