How are you enjoying your evening?

After a cold, wet, Spring we're finally getting nice weather. It's been in the 80's (60 at night) the last four days with no rain and tonight's going to be cooler. No better way to enjoy a nice evening than watching phoebes flying back and forth to their nest on the building feeding their little ones, while enjoying a cigar and glass of wine at the fire. Looked over and saw a deer just watching my dog and I for 2-3 minutes before snorting and trotting off.

No car is as much fun to drive, as any motorcycle is to ride.

I'm not posting any pictures but I am enjoying an outstanding evening with my wife in the backyard with perfect weather and even better conversation. The old fashioneds that we are drinking certainly don't hurt either.

Thank you! We had a great evening on our patio as well...light breezes, upper 70's for temperature. Really enjoyed just sitting out with Mrs. Mark in Michigan and our dog.

Best regards,

Same here... well except for our temps in the mid 90's. Roll Eyes
But throwing frisbee to the dog and enjoying a bit of a breeze.

The result is a debased, debauched culture which finds moral depravity entertaining and virtue contemptible."

Thank you for sharing the photos of such a beautiful place.

Great weather here, too.

Got a bunch done outside and we took the dogs for a nice walk, before their supper.

We've got the windows open for a hopefully pleasant night's sleep.

Thanks and it's wonderful to hear you all enjoying this evening.... even in humid Houston. Smile I can relate because it can be humid here on occasion.
Actually not on occasion but much of the Summer. Fortunately Summer temps generally stay in the 80's so not too bad.

Beautiful here in the high desert as well. Very windy earlier on, but it has quieted down nicely.

Well we are having a tropical storms but other than that it's pretty good. We live in the Baton Rouge area and had to go deliver some meds in New Iberia, LA today. Lots or rain on the way home.

It was nice here as well Sunday. Low 80's, humidity was down. As I write this it's 67°.

Yesterday ( Saturday)was a different story, 93° and 52% humidity.
Cut the grass yesterday morning before it got to hot, but it was already 88° and 72% humidity at 7AM, funny the humidity dropped a little as it got hotter, which is different around here.

Later on in the day Saturday, I washed, vacuumed, and applied paint sealant, and waxed the car.

When I went to bed at 1:30 AM, it was still 88° and 52% humidity.

I wanted to knock that all out Saturday, so I could just chill out and relax today. That's what I did, as much as nothing as I could.

Took the pup out for a ride in the clean shinny car, and got home and just sat outside and watched the trucks go by pulling their boats down to the river.

I didn't go down there, but about 20 Dodge Cummins trucks, 2 or 3 Ford powerstorkes and 5 or 6 Chevy and GMC Duramax all went down there. One after the other. All jacked up with big wheels and tires, all shined up....kinda of a rolling truck show.

Watched some sports, performance and classics cars drive by. People make the loop around, nice twisty county roads to drive on.

Just sat on the porch, sipped a couple beers, listened to some music and watched people going back and forth to the river.

A bit South of Santa Fe.

I grew up in the woods of the Northeast. Your place reminds me a lot of where we last lived before coming out here.

Come on out any time- I'll show you some good roads.

You need some bigger cigars!

Rain all week, finally got clear to get the mower out and cut the grass, toss on a bag of fertilizer so it gets soaked in today with the next rain.

Smoked two pork chops, salad and tea for dinner then retired to the man chair watched Alton Brown do BBQ and then off to the man cave for a couple of cigars around 9:30 and watched the toob.
