So. Maybe she's right. I'm not bothered by it. IMO, a lot of "Colored" candidates deserve to lose. (And so do a lot of "White" ones....)

This is the problem with democracy. Not everyone who runs for office gets to be a winner. Often the winners are smarter, wealthier, better looking, more charismatic, and work harder. And that's just not fair. Elections perpetuate prior inequities based on race, class, gender, and sexual orientation.

Democracy is racist.

I actually support her sentiment. She should and ought to give up on white people. She should get her friends and other Indians to give up on white people.

She's a democrat - all she'll be giving up on are white democrat people. Sounds like a good ending to me.
