Watching it in slow motion, it looks as though the perp was able to get a good luck at the pistol pointed in his face before shot #2. Hopefully he was able to realize that his end was imminent , and contemplate that as he died.

News story: https://get-asp.com/tki2
An undercover military policeman reacted and killed one of three suspected burglaries at a Post Office on Monday (23) in Itapecerica da Serra, Greater Sao Paulo. Two other suspects managed to escape.

The policeman had gone to the agency for a post and witnessed the arrival of the three men. One of them, armed, announced the theft. The policeman withdrew the weapon without the suspects noticing and shot the gunman, who immediately fell to the ground.

The images were recorded by security cameras and are shared on social networks. The case was registered at the Itapecerica da Serra police station.

Police say the man who died, according to his wife, was on temporary leave.

I actually think he missed (or at least just grazed him) with the first shot.

Approximately 2 1/2 feet from barrel to head and still missed/grazed him.

If you watch it quarter speed and go frame by frame, it looks like he scored a pretty good shot with the first hit. The guy was already reacting like he was gonna go down by the time the second shot breaks. It almost looks to me like the second shot hit him in the neck. That third shot was on the money, though. Even without the third shot, though, I think that guy was pretty well done for. That was just a coup de grace.

I’m wondering if he shot the BG with a .22 or something small.
I would have expected a pink mist at that close range

A big advantage of wearing hoodies is that they can soak up some blood. I am glad the BGs are so thoughtful, almost cleaning up after themselves.

Something of interest from a wound ballistics standpoint is how the shootee ends up on the ground with his arms raised in the “fencing response” that’s typically due to traumatic brain injury. At least one commentator I read years ago about the JFK assassination noted that the shot that hit him in the upper back was immediately followed by the same arms-up reaction. That shot didn’t hit his brain, but perhaps the hydrostatic effects in the vicinity of the spine were enough to trigger the response.

Very nice! Loved the slow reaction of the man in the back. Doesn't react to the robbery, dosen't react to the good guy shooting, side steps the falling shitbag, theeennn grabs his ears and backs away after he's on the ground.

First shot hits the back or top of bgs head, not sure where second hit, third was right in the noggin. Not sure if I was seeing things, but thought I saw a small puff on the opposite side of the head on shot 3, so maybe slight pink mist.
