There's a chart! Horizontal and vertical axis, timelines, percentages! Mathematics, sort of. It can't fail!

(But if you knew me, the fact that it has to do with women, and I'm recommending it, would convince you to do the opposite of whatever it recommends.)

Totally true. The interesting thing is how the amount of drama one wants/is willing to tolerate changes as one goes through life. Some gals that were a whole lot of fun in college and shortly after would get a brief smile as they were guided directly to the door these days. Smile

A few years ago me and my girlfriend split up for a year or so. At that point we had been together for about 12 years.

It was the usual split, and we started dating other people. I totally ago with what slosig posted.

The whole dating scene was painful, and I had a few first dates but no second dates. The stuff I was able to tolerate and overlook in the past (if the girl was hot) drove me insane and I could not wait for the dates to end.

If we break up again, I am getting a goldfish. I am less tolerant now than I was 8 eight years ago so I cannot imagine dating again.

Eight years ago? Ha! I was already less tolerant twenty seven years ago, when I got back together with the woman who would become my wife. If I lose her, for whatever reason, it's gonna be just me and the cats.

Yes, I guess I'll be the neighbourhood "crazy old cat guy."

The words "foolproof and "female" are rarely used in the same sentence. There are many reasons for this.

My wife and I both thought it was hilarious back when we first saw it. For Halloween one year I wore a t-shirt with the hot/crazy matrix on it. She rightfully dressed up as a unicorn. Cool

My solution to finding a wife was to join the army at 17, to go to Germany. Travel 60 miles from my base to a very small village.

Met her the first night I was in that little village.

Been married to her for 60 years. Never looked back.
