A friend was diagnosed with stomach cancer a year ago. He went the medical route for about six months, but he deteriorated using chemo, etc. Initially he was to use chemo plus surgery, but the cancer had progressed too far for surgery to be helpful. He then tried Protocel therapy. The theory is that human cells have a voltage associated with them, but cancer cells sit at a lower voltage. The Protocel therapy lowers the voltage of all the person's cells, and the cancer cells are then lowered to a point they cannot live. For treatment, the patient takes the meds every six hours like clockwork. Anti-oxidants cannot be taken at all, which includes vitamin C, vitamin E, etc. Initially my friend lost 30 lbs. due to the chemo and cancer, but has put that weight back on. He feels well, and looks 10x better. He has been using Protocel for 5 months, so time will tell if he is able to completely cure himself. Thought some SF members would find this interesting. As a side note, I have known two persons who developed stomach cancer. Both persons cooked on the BBQ or a grill many times a week. Many of you have probably heard that when cooking beef over an open flame, the fat drips down into the flames, and the heat changes the fat into a potentially cancer causing agent. The changed product is then pushed up by the heat, back toward the meat. Some of the modified fats are then eaten, and over time may cause cancer. At least that is the theory. -c1steve

I hope your friend does well. I really hate these diseases, they're devastating. I do think however that it's important to note that this therapy, when reviewed several decades ago showed no efficacy against cancer and as such is not advocated. I don't think anything has changed with respect to that treatment option since that time. If your friend has not already done so and if he is so inclined, he might consider looking into some of the clinical trails. His oncologist would know how to proceed. I wish i knew more as to how to direct him but it's not my field. This message has been edited. Last edited by: m.tenenhaus,

Staring back from the abyss |
Man has been eating meat cooked over fire for a few million years now. I'm not too worried about it. And, sorry about your friend. Hope this therapy helps him. ________________________________________________________ "Great danger lies in the notion that we can reason with evil." Doug Patton.

The other person who had stomach cancer, he owned a restaurant. 5-6 days a week he ate grilled beef, then after about 20 yeas, died of stomach cancer. In his will, he gave the restaurant to his employees. Man has cooked over a fire for 200,000 years, but they also slow cooked using leather bags. Their game was leaner, so their would be less fat to drip onto the coals. Two persons is not enough to mean anything statistically, but the only two persons I have known developing stomach cancer and grilling a lot is an unusual pattern. -c1steve

Too old to run, too mean to quit! |
I remember from years ago that in Germany the government showed substantial evidence that eating a lot of meat from the barby was not healthy, and seemed to lead to cancer.
