I've been awake for hours, jonesing to ride the motorcycle with the new battery installed.

But I need to check and top off tire air pressure first, and might as well roll the generator(s) out in the driveway and run them while I'm at it.

How much longer does a good neighbor wait to crank up the noisy compressor and generators?

On the weekends, I might even wait until 9:00.

Definitely no earlier than 9am on a Sunday. If you're a good neighbor.

10:00am in these parts.

I think there is an ordinance but most are just respectful.

I'm asking myself a slightly differently worded question concerning an AR. I think I have a few more hours.
Happy riding and be safe.

Go for a ride, then run the genset. I’d be more than pissed off if my neighbor ran a generator at 0800 on a Sunday. When folks might be trying to sleep in.

But I live in a neighborhood where we are all on top of each other. If I lived a mile from the neighbors I’d do it.

Depends how close the neighbors are and what their habits are. Only one neighbor and they’re up at five am 365 days a year? Rock on with your bad self. Lotsa neighbors, some night owls/late sleepers, might want to go later. Do you have anything quiet that you’d like to get done?

I live in humid Houston and 8 AM is already 82F (92F heat index) this time of year. Therefore, it's never quiet here at 8 AM on the weekend as everyone is trying to get stuff done before it's miserable (heat index hits 100 by 10 AM).

I've switched to if you can't beat 'em join 'em.

I Use the FOBO 2.the wife and kids got them for me as a present. Works great no more getting down with a pressure gauge. Now my good air gauge read 40 psi and FOBO showed 38 psi. Real easy to check and set up with phone. My first set leaked, one quick chat with customer service and I had new ones in about 3 days. Sends alerts to my helmet and texts my phone when pressure drops.
