Movie mobster Paul Sorvino has put out a hit on disgraced movie mogul Harvey Weinstein, saying he'll whack the accused sexual predator for blacklisting his daughter.

"If I meet him on the street, he ought to hope he goes to jail because if we come across, I think he'll be lying on the floor somehow magically," Sorvino told TMZ on Wednesday. "I will kill the motherf---er."

Sorvino was reacting to the news from last month that Harvey and Bob Weinstein discouraged director Terry Zwigoff from casting actress Mira Sorvino in his movie.

The "Godfellas" actor told the gossip site he "did not know the extent" of Weinstein's alleged behavior.

"If I had known it, he would not...be walking. He'd be in a wheelchair," he said adding his was "absolutely furious" when he heard the news about Weinstein.

"My daughter is wonderful person... and she doesn't deserve to have been treated that way by this pig. So this pig will get his comeuppance," the 78-year-old declared. "He's going to go to jail and die in jail, but if he doesn't, Harvey, come here, I have some news for you.

"Bad Santa" director Zwigoff revealed in December he was strongly advised not to cast Mira Sorvino in his movie, apparently because she rejected Harvey Weinstein's advances.

"I was interested in casting Mira Sorvino in BAD SANTA, but every time I mentioned her over the phone to the Weinsteins, I'd hear a CLICK," Zwigoff tweeted December 15.

Mira Sorvino tweeted at the time in response to Zwigoff thanking him for telling the truth. "Just seeing this after I awoke, I burst out crying. There it is, confirmation that Harvey Weinstein derailed my career, something I suspected but was unsure. Thank you Peter Jackson for being honest. I’m just heartsick," she tweeted.

"Lord of the Rings" director Peter Jackson also claimed in December that Harvey Weinstein told him to avoid working with actresses Ashley Judd and Mira Sorvino as part of a "smear campaign" against them.

Making public statements like that just assures he won't do anything to Weinstein.

If you wanted to "do" something, there would be an unfortunate accident.......

He could just hire the Clinton's guy!

I don't know, at 78 he might just not care about broadcasting intentions. But you're probably right.

Maybe somebody ought to tell this old fool that in real life, made men very rarely whacked anyone outside the family, and never announced it before hand.

Probably true but maybe Weinstein will sweat a little more, enhancing his piggishness.

I can see Mira Sorvino in "Bad Santa" and it would have been better with her.

Of course everyone knows that Paul Sorvino isn't going to harm Harvey Weinstein, but I think Sorvino's reaction is that of a loving father speaking up for his daughter. Despite it being a threat with nothing behind it, I think everyone knows why he said it and what he really meant when he said it.

Think about how far Harvey Weinstein has fallen. A year ago at this time, he was referred to in Hollywood as "God", and Paul Sorvino would have been committing professional suicide to say publicly anything even approaching his recent threat.

Sorvino is 78.

I bet there are few, if any fucks in his bag.

He might also know his end is closer than we think.

If he did pull a gun or knife and kill or harm Weinstein, Sorvino would be an instant legend. All it would take to cement it would be a timely death from natural causes.

Let be honest, if Paulie wacked Harvey, they'd never find the fucking body.

Absolutely. What good father wouldn't stand up for his daughter in such circumstances? How many other fathers of actresses Harvey victimized, or tried to, have the media clout that Paul Sorvino has? That's a face and a voice people know, and would listen to. I'm sure many other fathers of Weinstein's victims have said the same and worse, but the thing is they're not Paul Sorvino, so nobody is reporting about them.
