Plowing straight ahead come what may |
One thing to keep in mind...old plaster has a high chance of containing asbestos. Before stirring things up I would have it checked. Edit...I just say your last post about not doing it...sounds like a good call ******************************************************** "we've gotta roll with the punches, learn to play all of our hunches Making the best of what ever comes our way Forget that blind ambition and learn to trust your intuition Plowing straight ahead come what may And theres a cowboy in the jungle" Jimmy Buffet

Having being involved in historic preservation of major buildings for over 45 years, and an elected member of the National Trust for Historic Preservation, I offer the following advice: First, I would take a trip to the deep northern woods and find a 400+ pound female Grizzly, with cubs, and slap her in the snout. If you enjoy the encounter, then I would tear the plaster off of the wall. Frankly, I would rather slap mommy Grizzly than remove the plaster. . “Leave the Artillerymen alone, they are an obstinate lot. . .” – Napoleon Bonaparte http://poundsstudio.com/
